This video shows a subject with a known lumbar S1 nerve root injury; we display the muscle outputs of this subject's left Soleus and medial Gastrocnemius muscles compared to their right leg. We show how this nerve denervation will affect muscle outputs and how such nerve damage may look on the SEMG trace.
